CDL Admin Guidelines
Code of Conduct

As a CDL Admin, you represent the league both online and offline. Players, sponsors, and viewers look to you as an extension of our brand. These guidelines ensure we all deliver a consistent, professional, and welcoming experience.

1. Professional Representation

  • Always conduct yourself in a respectful and positive manner when speaking on behalf of CDL (in Discord, streams, Facebook, or in-person).

  • Avoid offensive, discriminatory, or inflammatory comments, even in private chats that may be linked back to CDL.

  • Be impartial and fair — no favoritism toward certain players or teams.

2. Communication

  • Use clear, respectful language when addressing players, sponsors, or the public.

  • Direct any disputes, disagreements, or player frustrations to private messages rather than public forums.

  • If a situation escalates, notify another admin — don’t try to handle it alone.

3. Conflict of Interest

  • If you are playing in an event, avoid making admin decisions that directly affect your own match or opponents.

  • Step aside and let another admin handle rulings when you are personally involved.

4. Event & Stream Duties

  • Be punctual — if you’re assigned to host, score keep, or moderate, log in early and be ready.

  • Ensure all event details (format, entry fee, payouts, rules) are announced clearly and consistently.

  • Promote CDL events positively on social platforms. Share posts rather than creating conflicting ones.

5. Player Support

  • Treat all players equally — whether it’s a beginner or an elite shooter.

  • Answer questions politely and provide guidance when needed.

  • Encourage good sportsmanship and remind players of league values when necessary.

6. Social Media & Public Image

  • Only post CDL announcements through approved channels (Facebook page, Discord announcements, website).

  • Personal posts are fine but avoid anything that could harm CDL’s reputation.

  • When in doubt, ask another admin or the league owners before posting.

7. Confidentiality

  • Keep player info (emails, phone numbers, payment details) private.

  • Do not share internal admin discussions outside of the admin group.

8. Accountability

  • Mistakes happen — own them, correct them quickly, and move forward.

  • Always support fellow admins in public, even if you disagree privately.

  • Repeated failure to follow these guidelines may result in removal from the admin team.

9. Spirit of CDL
Above all, remember why CDL exists: to grow darts, to provide fair competition, and to create a fun community for players of all levels. As an admin, you are a leader in that mission.
